MALAI, the Art of Nature, is a Toronto-based start-up that launched its first three fragrances of Body Creams and Beard Oil in 2022. Committed to organic, naturally sourced ingredients, the brand aimed to elevate its image in the skincare market, catering to individuals seeking premium, nature-inspired products. We focused on a colour palette that reflects natural elements—deep greens, warm browns, and soft, pastel creams—creating a harmonious and cohesive brand identity. The logo was designed to embody nature’s essence with a minimalist, elegant circular shape, symbolizing the continuous cycle of life and MALAI’s commitment to organic products. A clean, modern sans-serif font was used for bold headlines, paired with an elegant serif font for body text to balance sophistication and readability. To align with MALAI’s sustainability values, recyclable packaging materials were selected, ensuring both affordability and low environmental impact. The brand guidelines were extended to business cards, postcards, and product packaging, using eco-friendly materials to further reflect the brand's commitment to sustainability.
