A Fusion of Art and 3D Printing Innovation.
For the creation of a life-sized replica of the iconic KAWS figure, I led the finishing design process, blending artistic vision with 3D printing technology. The challenge was to stay true to KAWS’ urban art aesthetic while overcoming the complexities of large-scale production and lightweight durability. From 3D modelling to the final spray paint details, the project highlighted the power of 3D printing in art and design.
A video reel showcased the transformation, across social media platforms. Collaborating with 3D Vector, we crafted the seamless sculpture using advanced thermoplastic materials, ensuring both structural integrity and artistic fidelity. The final piece paid tribute to KAWS’ signature style with matte and glossy finishes and a bold colour palette, redefining large-scale creative projects.
